Finch for Text® Adds New Machine Translation Capabilities

Reston, VA – Finch Computing, home to innovative natural language processing software Finch for Text®, today announced that it has added an artificial intelligence-driven capability to the product that helps customers translate text into their preferred language.

“By adding a neural machine endpoint to the product,” Finch Computing Chief Technology Officer Scott Lightner said, “we’re making it exceptionally easy for customers to not only translate text, but to get immense value from it at the entity level.”

With this new addition, Finch for Text® uses artificial intelligence and neural machine translation (NMT) to deliver automated, accurate, at-scale translations at a lower cost than competing services. To do it, the company leverages its own neural translation models, developed in-house by its team of data scientists and NLP experts.

Initial languages available for machine translation are Dutch and French, with more languages coming soon.
